Black History Month is a time to celebrate and acknowledge the significant contributions of African Americans across the U.S. As we reflect on this year’s theme, “African Americans and Labor” we honor the transformational impact of African Americans work throughout history.

February is Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance, and Inclusion Month (JDAIM), and JCFS Chicago is proud to join the worldwide effort by Jewish organizations to raise awareness and promote inclusion of people with disabilities. Our agency provides year-round services and programs that provide people with disabilities, their families and caregivers the support they need to be accepted and included in all aspects of Jewish and community life. https://ow.ly/oXXh50USIIF

This year on Yom HaShoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day - we mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. We stand in solidarity with Jewish communities worldwide to remember and honor both the victims and survivors of the Holocaust. May we never forget the lessons of history and work towards creating a world free from all forms of hatred.

Kickstart 2025 with inclusion! The JCFS Duman Opportunity Center has set a goal to place 50 people into CIE (Competitive Integrated Employment) in the next 6 months and you can help by spreading the word! Over the next few months, we will highlight, employers, community partners, and job seekers. Repost and share our content to help those with disabilities find and maintain meaningful employment.
