This year, we overlooked the iconic green river from Gibsons Italia, taking in the sights of Chicago’s celebration, joined by the Chicago Bears executive leadership team, wide receiver DJ Moore, and legendary alumni Anthony "Spice" Adams. This event is one of many exciting experiences for our Bears Premier Partners. Analytics is becoming the latest game changer in sports, offering teams on and off the field a competitive edge around performance and fan engagement. The Chicago Bears are proud to help lead the conversation as members of our Business Strategy and Analytics team were part of the organizing committee for the first-ever Club Data & Analytics Summit in Boston. The summit brought together business analytics teams from 25 football clubs, creating a space for collaboration, innovation, networking and knowledge sharing across the League. From fan engagement strategies to revenue optimization and data efficiencies, the discussions highlighted how analytics continue to shape the future of the league. A big thank you to all the teams and staff who participated, especially Melissa McDermott, Corey Ruff, Justin Nath, Karthik Sukumar and keynote speaker, Joey Bloom from the Bears – we are excited to continue pushing the boundaries of analytics in football together! #ChicagoBears #DataDriven #BearDown

People across the state of Illinois and Chicagoland were excited to witness history at the Walter Payton Center over the weekend. The Chicago Bears hosted coaches, families and high school flag football players as they gathered under the wooden dome Saturday night to watch the Benedictine University Eagles take on the Rockford University Regents in the first collegiate women's flag football game in Illinois history. • Karen Murphy, Chicago Bears EVP of Stadium Development & COO joined the Wisconsin Sports Business Conference (WSBC) panel, "You’re Not Ready for a Career in Sports. Here’s How You Can Get There." Last week, Karen spoke about getting attendees prepared for a long and thriving sports career. The Chicago Bears have been fortunate to have Karen on the club's team for over 25 years. Her leadership and counsel extend across critical departments, including finance & accounting, stadium & event operations, building operations, information technology, purchasing and innovation. From Chicago Bears President & CEO, Kevin Warren: "Karen is an exceptional and innovative leader and has been a positive force for both the Chicago Bears and the National Football League. From the moment I met Karen, it was clear that she was an individual who would focus on being excellent every day and operate with a championship mindset." Karen was able to share some of that experience and mindset with WSBC attendees at her alma mater during another informative WSBC conference!

Our first panel of the day, "You’re Not Ready for a Career in Sport. Here’s How You Can Get There" provided invaluable insights on breaking into the industry! #WSBC1

  • Liberty University freshman Allison Brown from Belleville, IL, joined a Zoom call Tuesday morning thinking she was participating in a finalist interview for the Chicago Bears Collin Wehr Scholarship — an annual program that provides financial assistance to young cancer survivors or the siblings of children who lost their battle with pediatric cancer. The scholarship, now in its 11th year, honors Wehr, who passed away in March 2013. Wehr became a member of the Bears family in 2011 when he fulfilled his wish of being a NFL Network reporter and reporting live from Halas Hall alongside former receiver Tom Waddle. Allison, after answering a couple questions from the scholarship selection committee, received a question from Bears nickel back, Kyler Gordon who then quickly surprised her moments later as the 2025 award recipient. "I expected there to be several applicants, so I was like, 'even if I don't get it, it's OK. I just need to share my story and talking to these people would be incredible,'" Allison shared after the surprise. "So, I totally wasn't expecting to get it honestly, so hearing that was such a blessing. This really is amazing for my family, because we've been through a lot, obviously. I'm super thankful. I was in shock for the first couple seconds and still am honestly. I'm extremely thankful." Please check out Allison's surprise reaction below and hear more about her incredible journey here: https://lnkd.in/gk_aNwii
