Join DefinedTalent at Studio Red Bank on Thursday May 30th from 6pm-8:30pm as they host Founder of Shared Story Consulting, Josh Tobiessen as he holds space for individuals to get creative!!! Are you an organization looking to help your employees with some professional development or are you an individual looking to step up your job search and stand out in a sea of applicants...if YES to either of these, then this workshop is for you! FOR AN ORGANIZATION: Your organization might have a clear purpose, but if your employees don’t have the same clarity, it can be hard for them to feel engaged. Learning the skills to communicate a clear and engaging story allows your people to both build productive relationships at work, and also re-energize their sense of purpose. During this workshop we will talk about how stories work, do a few fun and engaging writing exercises, and create a draft of a story that participants can use to build stronger connections with co-workers and mentors by finding alignment between their personal values and the values of the organization. When people can connect their values to their work and build meaningful relationships, they contribute to a strong workplace culture that benefits the entire organization. IF YOU ARE AN APPLICANT: It can be hard to talk about yourself in a way that makes other people care, but having a clear and engaging story not only makes it easier to connect with the people that will grow your career, it also helps clarify your goals and build your confidence. This workshop will help you talk about yourself with confidence in a way that inspires your audience. We’ll talk about how stories work, do a few fun and engaging writing exercises, and you’ll leave with the start of a story that can be used to connect through cover letters, interviews, websites, and networking events. You don’t have to be nervous when it’s time to talk about yourself. Tell your story and be seen by the people who matter. We are looking forward to seeing you! Make sure to sign up TODAY as space is limited!!! REGISTER HERE - https://lnkd.in/ek2wugJ9
