Next to Tomasz and Oriol, our default test pilots, we have now Andrea Spresian joining as a Jetson Test Pilot. Andrea is a former Aeronautica Militare flight instructor and test pilot on the Lockheed C130 Hercules, former commercial pilot for Air Dolomiti and FlyDubai. Andrea, now almost 2 years at Jetson, is our Flight Operation Manager and Chief test pilot; he also oversees our certification efforts and our worldwide compliance. His first reaction (jokingly), "From now on, I no longer have to worry about ice and clouds but have to watch out for trees and cows...." His smile says everything! It feels like we have entered into a new phase here at Jetson with team members now being able to experience what they have worked so hard on over the years. #JetsonONE #eVTOL #Aviation #FlyingCars #ElectricTransport #AdventureAwaits

For our pilots who love exploring rivers, lakes, or coastlines. Every ultralight aircraft must be tested to understand the behavior of an aircraft above a surface area of water. With no significant body of water in the immediate area we thought we could take our initial flight test over a pool to see how the water would react with the unit hovering just above. Why is this important? Our goal is to confirm the IP rating of the aircraft’s electronic components against water intrusion as well as to verify the various sensors mounted on the aircraft. This will allow us to understand the unit's behavior in a variety of conditions. The data gathered from these trials is invaluable in determining the minimum safe altitude of the aircraft which must be maintained above a surface of water. #JetsonONE #FlightTest #eVTOL #UltralightAircraft #Avitation #EveryoneIsAPilot

This family loves the Jetson ONE so much that they ordered 2 units in early 2022! Even in the sweltering heat of the Italian summer we were happily visited by a wonderful family who flew in all the way from Canada. After a tour of the facilities, recounting the story of Jetson's beginning, and answering questions, the last thing we had to do was a flight demo. We love seeing the reactions of our customers as they see the ONE take flight. It's always a good time when being surrounded by fellow aviators. Last weekend the Jetson team attended the annual Flight & Fun event at the Pavullo Nel Frignano airstrip located in the heart of Emilia Romagna near Italy's motor valley, Modena. Ran in partnership with Aero Club Italia, Enac, Aero Friedrichshafen, Piloti di Classe, and Aeroporto Verde; we were fortunate to spend time on one of the most beautiful airfields in Italy. This event is where European pilots come to share the latest in aviation news, insights, exhibition, and testing. And we are proud to be part of this community and can't wait for next year's event. FAA-Part 103 (recreational flight) sets a speed limit of 63 mph (102 km/h).
