About us

The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County has been one of the most trusted names in local philanthropy, raising funds to improve the welfare of Jews in need locally, in Israel and in 70 countries around the world. We also help victims of natural disasters, such as hurricanes, wildfires, and other calamities. Through an effective, time-honored infrastructure we are able to feed, rescue, comfort, rehabilitate, inspire, educate, and give hope to thousands of people in need every day. This can only be done through the generosity of residents like you. Our Federation is also dedicated to keeping our community connected and aware of Jewish needs and issues through a wide-range of events, rallies and volunteer opportunities, in addition to cultivating the next generation of local Jewish leaders. • Yesterday’s attack on Israel is the latest in an unrelenting attempt to destroy the Jewish homeland. Tonight begins Rosh Hashanah, a time of reflection and hope. As we reflect on the past year, one marked by both challenges and triumphs, locally and in Israel, we are reminded of the deep bonds that unite us as a community. At Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, we have witnessed firsthand the power of solidarity, resilience, and compassion. In times of uncertainty, we came together, uplifted one another, and strengthened the ties that bind us to our shared history, values, and future. Indeed, our strength lies in our unity, and it is this unity that gives us hope for the year ahead. As we look forward, we pray that this coming New Year brings peace in Israel, the freeing of hostages, healing, and renewed purpose. May we continue to stand together, embracing our differences while striving toward a future that reflects the very best of who we are -- one community, united by shared purpose and a collective vision of hope. Shana Tova U’Metuka -- a sweet and blessed 5785 to all!

  • Our hearts and souls are in pain, as we watch Iran’s attack on our homeland. From the north to the south, the entire country is under fire. Our beloved families and friends are in bomb shelters, afraid for their lives. We are in complete solidarity with the people of Israel and the IDF, as they work to defend themselves from these attacks. As the New Year approaches, we pray ever more fervently for safety and peace in Israel.

  • In light of the escalation of the war in the north of Israel, Jewish Federations across North America have allocated $43M in emergency funds to meet critical needs of those communities under attack. This new series of allocations is in addition to the more than $32M that have been allocated to support the communities in the north during the months that they have been under attack and evacuated from their homes. Federations will continue to monitor the situation carefully and are committed to meeting the needs of all our brothers and sisters in Israel, as they become known. We will continue to provide updates, as more information becomes available.

What an incredible past few days with the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, Gilad Segev, and Project Heros. We held a beautiful and intimate performance with the Donna Klein High school students. They were able to preview the performance and have an intimate Q&A with the band while sharing their fears and hopes about being Jewish in America at this time. Last night with Hurricane Helene sending some winds and rain our way, we still had an unbelievable sold out performance. Through music and art we were filled with tears of sadness for those heros lost on October 7th. At the same time, we were filled with hope for our everyday heros that continue to save us day after day post October 7th. Thank you to my amazing team for allowing me the honor of being a part of this emotional and meaningful performance. An evening that helps to bring together, inspire, and help heal members of our South Palm Beach County. May the hostages come home, and may we enter the Jewish New Year with peace. Am Yisroel Chai
