Care for, and keep, your people.

About us

We partner with organizations to give their moms, dads and caregivers the tools to integrate the care of themselves, their families, and their work through group coaching. Our certified coaches lead groups of similarly-situated parents and caregivers through a 12-week program, and a year of dedicated support. These groups act as personal Boards, providing connection, inspiration, and accountability. Rooted in the science of behavior change, our curriculum gives members the tools to find fulfillment across all the dimensions of their life. If you're an organization looking to build a better working world for parents and caregivers, we'll help you: - Track caregiver status - Track & measure DEIB - Create micro-communities that foster belonging & connection - Identify which niche benefits your caregiver employees need most - Identify what changes can be made to attract & retain talented employees who are caregivers & parents Let's grow forward together. Keep in touch: hello@keep-company.com ... From our members: "This was one of the best experiences of my personal and professional life. I left each meeting feeling grateful to be part of such a strong and supportive group. I would recommend it to every working mom I know." - Katie "It’s a lot for me to give up 1.5 hours in the middle of my workday, but every minute was worth it." - Purvi "I feel more empowered to prioritize what I feel I want and need for my personal (mental, physical, emotional) well-being, and I feel less guilty when I take time to invest in myself. I feel happier overall, and so grateful to have been able to develop deeper connections with the members in my group." - Tricia "I genuinely looked forward to each meeting and gained invaluable information. I also feel much more connected to my job and firm and more secure in my choice to work at this firm. I feel like I can be a working parent here.” - Alex

As the Surgeon General's latest public health advisory shows, the data around parental stress is clear. The problem is enormous and the impact is far-reaching. So, where do we go from here? At Keep Company, the answer is usually one of both/and. 1. We recognize the enormity of what this data says about the state of working parents and caregivers, and just how many people are struggling. We all feel it, but this advisory showcases the magnitude of the problem. 2. Then, we move into action. Because awareness is not enough. We're proud to support organizations that didn't wait for a public health advisory to move into action for the parents and caregivers on their team. And we're heartened by the organizations this advisory has moved into action. If you are ready to meet this moment, our solution is waiting. Our nudge? Don't wait long. As the data shows, the cost is too high.

I help companies beat burnout & retain diverse talent 🌟

A Keep Company feature piece in Forbes?! I'm truly honored...and overwhelmed. Here's some of the feelings I can name today: 1. Excitement. Now is the time. On the same day this Forbes article was published, the U.S. Surgeon General issued an advisory sounding the alarm about the mental health and well-being of parents. Our unique approach to connection and skill-building helps our employer clients and our individual members comply with Dr. Murthy’s specific recommendations, and get upstream of the mental health challenges facing working parents today. The "Chief Wellness Officer" of the United States is calling on employers to take action, and we have the solution. 2. Validation. We were early to this market and have been told many times that our "point" solution is not scalable and our "niche" employee segment is not addressing a big enough pain point. I'm proud of our determination to prove that combating loneliness and building skills is a solution with depth and enormous impact that is scalable with the right technology. And I will say it over and over again - 73% of your workforce is not a niche segment. We are filling an important care gap between ERGs and EAPs. 3. Gratitude. I am so incredibly grateful to the small but mighty Keep Company team. Everyone on the team, including our amazing coaches, are mission-driven, curious and brilliant. I'm privileged to build this business and support as many parents and caregivers as possible with this crew, who amplify each other's strengths. And, as a first-time founder, I appreciate their grace and patience as we learn together. Of course, we would not have a business to build if our early investors and clients did not support the vision from Day 1. "Back-to-school" is my favorite time of year (cue Billy Madison). I've got my lunch packed up and my boots tied tight....And I'm bringing this new momentum into Tuesday morning. Until then...I'm taking a break this Labor Day weekend and hope you enjoy it as well!

"This is your moment!" Holy moly, the amount of texts and calls we got yesterday with some version of this message 💪 It takes a village to raise a child... but it also takes one to build a business. Here's the thing: working world where we have to pretend we don't have aging parents or kids or bodies that break makes no sense. Expecting your team to just *push through* or *figure it out* makes no sense. Navigating big demands at work and at home *alone* makes no sense. It makes no sense from a human perspective, and certainly makes no sense from an economic perspective. Thank you Geri Stengel and Forbes for telling the story of Keep Company. And on the day the Surgeon General announces that the problem we're solving is a national emergency no less. We're proving there's a different way. One where employees (read: humans) can feel equipped to navigate transitions and demands, both at work and at home. Finding your people helps. Building tangible emotional skills helps. And we're showing we can do it at scale. We're ready to meet this moment. But first, gonna practice what we preach and take a minute to sit in some pride over this very big day for our team and the big work we're doing. But just a minute...

"There’s a new U.S. surgeon general’s warning: Parenting can be harmful to your mental health." As the Wall Street Journal highlights, the parental mental health crisis is pervasive and costly. The data is clear. The problem is enormous. So, where are the solutions? Dr Murthy recommends several actions that government agencies, employers and healthcare can do to better support parents. From the WSJ piece: "And while we wait for those institutions to do their part—if they ever do—he says parents need to build and nurture their own support network of friends, neighbors and relatives. Honestly, that sounds like more stress." We feel the urgency of our mission at Keep Company more than ever. We're removing the burden of building the solution to these massive systemic problems off the shoulders of the individual. It shouldn't be on any individual parent or caregiver to build the support system and the skills to integrate big demands at work and at home. We've shown it doesn't have to be. If you're interested in bringing Keep Company to your working world DM me. Big work to do!

I love this episode because I resonate so much with a lot of what Ellen Conley talks about, despite not being an attorney myself. Being a working parent requires a lot of organization and resilience. Ellen articulates perfectly the importance of perspective and intentional time management to prevent burnout and set ourselves up for success. She also gives great, tangible advice for young attorneys navigating Big Law. Thank you for imparting your wisdom on us, Ellen! Listen here: https://lnkd.in/gS_Bs4xj

Caregiver burnout is about more than just exhaustion. As a recent article from The Wharton School explained, caregiver burnout poses a significant threat not just to employee performance, but to retention, and organizational health overall. And while more than 70% percent of Americans already report caregiving duties, that number is only expected to grow. What can organizations do? The article (linked in comments) suggests several ways companies can get upstream of these challenges, including bringing employee caregivers together. At Keep Company, we do just that. Our platform, rooted in the power of a group, combines the best of peer support and coaching to give employees a truly impactful infrastructure of support. What do they bring to this support system? Caregiving challenges, intergenerational tensions at work, hybrid work challenges, ongoing mental health concerns, and on. Our model is primed to support them in navigating whatever challenge in weighing heaviest, so they can best show up - at work and at home. #CaregiverBurnout #EmployeeWellBeing #KeepThe73

🌎 In our increasingly Zoom-first working world, the value of human or "soft skills" has never been higher. But will traditional upskilling work in this new era of work? For many forward-thinking businesses, the answer is a resounding "NO": 💰 In Australia, the law firm of MinterEllison has started incentivizing employee participation in training programs with a new rewards system — complete with an in-house digital currency — to foster healthy competition among its lawyers. ❤️ And in recent weeks, LinkedIn's resident workplace expert has advocated for the integration of soft skills and emotional intelligence training into business practices, emphasizing their importance alongside technical skills for workforce success in a tech-driven environment. This shift towards prioritizing soft skill-building is a trend we're seeing globally, and it’s something our team is passionate about. At Keep Company, our unique group-learning and coaching platform is designed to help organizations get upstream of the most pressing issues today – from intergenerational tensions to the hybrid work model and ongoing mental health challenges. 🔗 Interested in learning more about how our platform can help you upgrade your own upskilling efforts?
