Changing this simple traffic setting in PMax led to us scaling up to $30K a day. Are you struggling to unlock scale with PMax? Well this is low hanging fruit. Buried in the settings of PMax is a setting called URL Expansion. URL Expansion is automatically enabled when you create a new campaign AND it will allow PMax to drive users to any “relevant” URL on your site. Unfortunately in our experience this includes many pages that are not built to convert like blogs or contact pages. This may be especially frustrating to learn if you’re team has done the work to craft highly converting landing pages. You’ll be glad to know that by by simply turning the URL Expansion setting OFF you can in ensure that traffic is being run only to the pages that you want. In the case of a recent client, changing this setting led to a massive impact because it ensured that all users on PMax were getting sent to their carefully crafted advertorial landing pages which had already proved to convert.
