When our friends at altafiber heard that one of our KWF Recipients was eager to attend a Cincinnati Bengals game, they quickly jumped on the opportunity to offer up their suite! 🎉🏈🐅 Last night, Amanda and her family ditched cancer and headed to Paycor Stadium to watch the Bengals take on the Colts. This special evening was a respite amidst a difficult cancer diagnosis that allowed the Brock Family to focus on some FUN ahead of Amanda’s upcoming treatment. We had the privilege of brightening Allyson’s journey with a special surprise this summer: a serene Blue Ridge Cabin Getaway. Who has time for cancer when canoe trips and outdoor adventures come calling?! 🛶 Allyson was nominated by her nurse navigator, Marina, who described her as hopeful, incredibly strong, and determined. Marina shared, “Allyson is a very brave woman. She deserves to have her spirits lifted and give her strength.” Thanks to the generosity of our givers, #KWFAtlanta delivered this heartfelt gift to The Hewett Family offering them a peaceful retreat to recharge and create lasting memories together. 🩷🫶

What a day we had at our 9th Annual Birdies, Beer & a Band Golf Outing & After-Party! Over 130 golfers hit the links at the beautiful, Maketewah Country Club as guests joined the FUN at our after-party. Thanks to your incredible support and enthusiasm, we’re thrilled to announce that we raised $150,000 toward our KWF Mission! Now that’s what we call a hole-in-one! A very special thank you to our hosts, Elaine & Sam Sambrookes alongside our amazing golf committee - Dale Donovan, Steve Moser, Corey Wolfe and Simran Magowan. 🌞 🌴 KWF Recipient Laura and her family just returned home from a week in sunny Hilton Head where time slowed down, cancer took a backseat and beach time took priority. Laura's husband Alan nominated her for this trip noting, “Dear Laura, You are the love of my life and also the kindest person I know. We are meant to live out our years together rocking on our front porch. Your strength will allow you to overcome this.” A big thank you to Don Hoffman and Abby Weeks for this special delivery. This past month, TQL’ers volunteered their time at a Helpy Hour benefiting KWF. Total Quality Logistics donated items for our Lemons to Lemonade boxes, while team members packed and wrote hundreds of encouraging letters to KWF recipients.
