Join the Wish for Wheels team for a great day of building and donating bikes for the 2nd graders of McMeen Elementary School in honor of local marketing leader Steve Sander. Steve’s passion for the local community and giving kids who may not otherwise have the opportunity to get outside is the driving force of this effort. As we reach the one-year mark without Steve, this effort is to remember his legacy and bring together his beloved friends and colleagues to do what Steve loved best, giving back. We're so proud of Brett Schaaf for publishing her debut poetry book, Life in Full Color!! Be sure to check it out (and pick up a copy!): https://lnkd.in/dh2bUk3p
Today marks an incredible milestone for me: the publication and launch of my debut poetry book, Life in Full Color! This project has been years in the making and is deeply personal. Life in Full Color is a collection of poems that explores the full emotional spectrum of life – from the brightest joys to the quietest reflections. Each page is a different color, matching the emotions I sought to capture through my words. I’m beyond grateful for the support I’ve received throughout this journey – from those who’ve read my early drafts to the friends and family who’ve cheered me on from the very beginning. Your encouragement has been a huge part of bringing this dream to life. If you’re curious about Life in Full Color, you can find it here: https://lnkd.in/gN4GeefC. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you pick up a copy or even just chat about the creative process. I believe that poetry and storytelling have the power to connect us in meaningful ways, and I’m excited to see where this book takes me next!

Karsh Hagan had the honor of attending and filming the Annual Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park, South Dakota last week. Stay tuned, more to come! 🤠
My first South Dakota Buffalo Roundup was wild! And full of dust, dirt, heat, sweat, early mornings, long days, Buffalo snorts, cowboy yells, great friends, amazing riders, beautiful sunsets, big hugs, firm handshakes, star-filled nights, cold beers, hot coffee, loud bullwhips, quiet mornings, warm smiles, warm campfires and some life long memories I still can’t believe I got to experience. No, I was’t on horseback, but rather in the back of a pickup truck hanging on for life while shooting with a bunch of journalist from around the world doing the same thing. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, The South Dakota Buffalo Roundup is an annual event held in Custer State Park, where cowboys, cowgirls, and park staff on horseback drive a herd of around 1,500 bison across the park's vast prairies. It is both a thrilling spectacle and an important conservation effort. The roundup allows the park to maintain the health of the bison population by assessing the herd, vaccinating animals, and selecting bison for sale to prevent overgrazing and ensure sustainable grassland management. And the best part of it all, it’s another opportunity to tell a beautiful story about this land and the people that live it. All captured on camera ( several cameras actually ) led by the amazing directing talent of @kate_rolston and her awesome cowboy partner behind the 🎥 @adamnbove 👏 It’s a bucket list event you didn’t know you needed on your bucket list.
