The mechanic shop and office for MWH/Slayden Constructors Inc. is coming together, with the exterior now 98% complete. Last week, we poured the concrete pandeck mezzanine, and work continues on office framing, door frames, and MEP installations. Overhead door installation and fire sprinkler work are kicking off this week. More updates to come! 

Exciting news—the new locker room and group training space at Courthouse Club Fitness Battle Creek location is officially open! Recently, our office staff visited our Houck Project for a behind-the-scenes look at our progress. It was a great opportunity to walk the site, answer questions, and give them a glimpse into the construction process. With perfect weather and plenty of hard hats and vests, it made for a great day on-site!

Progress is well underway on the new shop and office for K & E Excavating, Inc. in Redmond! Recent developments include roofing installation, interior electrical and plumbing work, heating system setup, and epoxy flooring in the shop. This project is taking shape, and we’re excited to see it come together. Stay tuned for more updates!

Congratulations to Kuenzi and Company LLC on your newly updated office! It was a pleasure working with you and Lenity Architecture to remodel the reception area, reconfigure walls, and give the space a fresh look with new paint and carpet. We’re proud to have been part of this project and wish you continued success in your upgraded office!

We’re on the home stretch of our project with Courthouse Club Fitness! Benches have been installed near the fireplace, the locker room tile is grouted, and the new training space is taking shape. We were excited to participate in Career Day at Silverton High School! One of our superintendents, Rob, appreciated the opportunity to connect with students and share what we do at Kaufman Commercial. We look forward to future opportunities to engage with our community.

We are excited to share an update on the ongoing remodel of the Salud Medical Center in Woodburn for Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic. This project is a 9-phase interior remodel that will take approximately 2 years to complete. The primary challenge with this project is that the medical center remains open and fully operational throughout the remodel. Extensive planning and care is being taken to keep the patients and staff protected during construction.  We just completed phase 1 of the interior remodel for their Women Infant and Children area and all their administration offices. Another key part of this project is that we are revamping all of their parking lots. K & E Excavating, Inc. is wrapping up the new parking area in the front.

As we celebrate the Christmas season, we reflect on the true reason of this celebration —the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We are thankful for the blessings of this year and for the privilege of serving our community.
