This week, our Director of Patient Services, Floribel Tabizon, and our Specialty Care Manager and Bank of America Emerging Leader, Keishana Blackmon, had the opportunity to attend the Bank of America Neighborhood Builders Leadership Program in Charlotte, North Carolina, alongside several nonprofit awardees. This was a special gathering as Bank of America celebrates the 20th anniversary of their Neighborhood Builders program. 👏 It was an uplifting time to listen and learn from the many nonprofit organizations in attendance about the work they do and the solidarity we are bonded to while doing the work in our respective communities. The program included panels from philanthropic and leadership experts, numerous networking opportunities, and relevant panel discussions surrounding the meaningful work we do and how important it is to have data to guide our decision-making. Kheir was selected and honored with the Bank of America 2023 Neighborhood Builders Award for Championing Economic Mobility in Underserved Immigrant Neighborhoods in Los Angeles. #KheirGoesGlobal! 🌏Recapping our team’s wonderful trip to South Korea, where we had the incredible opportunity to attend the KOTRA Global Talent Fair in Seoul—the largest talent fair for global talents in Korea, with over 400 domestic and international businesses attending. We’re always on the lookout for passionate individuals to join our team, and it was a great opportunity to connect with global talent! Our staff also had the honor of meeting with Dr. Young Kuk Lee, Dean of the International Office at Kyungdong University Global (KDU Global) in South Korea. We discussed our upcoming partnership with KDU as a host site for multilingual student interns through the KDU Global Program. This initiative is designed to provide students with invaluable international exposure and practical experience in diverse cultural settings, enhancing their language skills and professional development. A special thank you to the Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency for inviting us and hosting a wonderful event, as well as to KDU for their hospitality!
