Where Passion Meets Analytics Education

About us

Data analytics program that upskills youth with data skills to innovate with emerging tech now. As we go further into the 4th Industrial Revolution, analytics and critical thinking skills are in demand at an all time high across all industries. As students speak and communicate non verbal with analytics everyday. From media, graphs, GIFs, reports, sports etc. that we consume and produce. How do you prepare them to utilize those skills? Our curriculum is the link to bridge this educational gap and develop those skill sets. We build on the common core skills learned within the classroom. KidAlytics leverages these lessons by incorporating critical thinking exercises and concepts that apply to everyday life through our live courses and gamification. Analytics is for everyone; not just Statisticians or Coders. It’s used by researchers, engineers, social workers, scientists, plumbers, community activists, entrepreneurs, doctors, computer scientists and the list goes on. Allowing youth to learn the skills to achieve their dream goals in any industry.

As money runs out in schools districts across the nation, math is still a problem for many students. Between fall 2019 and 2022, national test scores sank four points in reading and nine points in math for 13-year-olds. While scores have started to improve, researchers at the testing nonprofit NWEA estimated last summer that the average American eighth-grader would still need the equivalent of nine more months of schooling to catch up in #math, compared with seven extra months in reading. https://lnkd.in/gHfFYS2H #reimagineeducation #stem #kidalytics #students #data

Data literacy has declined even more rapidly for some historically underrepresented students. For instance, eighth-grade Black students scored 18 points lower in Data Analysis, Statistics, and Probability compared to the 2011 exam. There are large racial gaps in student outcomes when it comes to data literacy. These gaps exist across all grade levels but are at times most egregious at the middle and high school levels. For instance, fourth-grade Black students scored 28 points lower than their white peers in the Data Analysis, Statistics, and Probability section of the NAEP math exam. Put differently, it would take an additional three years of academic progress for fourth-grade Black students to perform at the level of their white peers in data literacy. Eighth-grade Black students scored 34 points lower than their white peers, or are over three years behind. Bridging these gaps will take communities, public-private partnerships, and polices to ensure appropriate resources are avaiable to make impactful outcomes. #kidalytics #education ##dataanalytics #dataliteracy #growthmindset

Although data literacy is widely acknowledged as essential, there remains a significant gap between recognition and practical implementation. According to a 2021 Forrester report, only 48% of academic institutions have implemented data literacy initiatives despite being the most sought-after skill for entry-level positions. In essence, this disconnect in data literacy education highlights a critical issue in our education system: The skills being taught need to align with the demands of the modern job market. The need for a more systemic integration of data literacy into curriculums is evident, and this shift would benefit not only students and their future employers but society as a whole. KidAlytics' 👉 mission is to fill this gap by empowering youth with data skills that can be used across sectors. This is a commitment to equity and economic stability for individuals, their families, and their communities. #dataliteracy #techleaders #kidalytics #youthdevelopment #leadershipdevelopment #stemeducation
