Meet Yuliya Derkach. Yuliya’s remarkable journey at King & Prince Seafood began in 2012 when she was hired. Since then, she has steadily climbed the ranks, earning her current position as Senior Operations Supervisor at our Redmond, Washington facility. Starting in QA, Yuliya’s dedication led her through roles in Production, Packaging, and ultimately to becoming a 2nd shift Supervisor before attaining her current position. One of Yuliya’s favorite King & Prince Seafood items is Mrs. Friday’s® Tavern Battered® Cod. She appreciates its beer flavor, even though it contains no actual beer, and takes pride in the fact that it’s produced right at the Redmond plant. Beyond her career, Yuliya cherishes her time with family and her two children. Her love for the outdoors shines through in her enjoyment of activities like hiking and her passion for traveling to discover new places and cuisines. Yuliya’s story is a testament to the opportunities available at King & Prince Seafood® for those who are driven to advance.
