Congrats to our Impact Foundation and their team for the culmination of year 1 of programming in Costa Rica
-------------- This week marked the culmination of the first cohort of the Kirchner Fellowship in Costa Rica. Stemming from the efforts of the Kirchner Impact Foundation in Central America, and specifically in Costa Rica over the past three years. From numerous whiteboarding sessions to seeing the first generation of Costa Rican students experience being an impact investor firsthand. This report showcases the remarkable work of our fellows, now Alumni of the program: Sianny Chavarria, Celestina Brenes Porras, and Itnan Vargas Venegas, throughout 2023. The info they collected provides tangible data for improvement in companies' preparedness to receive investment, particularly in the bioeconomy sector. This achievement would not have been possible without the support of our local partners, especially the CRUSA Foundation, with a special mention to Gabriela Lopez Salazar for her unwavering support throughout the entire process, not only during the Fellowship but also in all other KIF activities. I would also like to extend our gratitude to the entire team: Priscilla Morera, Eduardo Garay, Charles Higgenbotham, Steve Dauphin, Rod Parker, Adrián García Casarrubias, Blair G. Kirchner, and Hattie Brown.
