✨ 𝟮𝟱 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 📅 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟳 - 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗟𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀, 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 & 𝗧𝗢𝗦. Todays tip will be a quick and easy one. NotebookLM makes it incredibly easy to upload documents, get summaries, and ask specific questions about what's in the sources that you link to or upload. 📌 Adding sources to query • In NotebookLM, you can query sources like Google Docs, Google Slides, PDFs, text files, web URLs, copied text, and YouTube video links; with a limit of up to 50 sources per notebook, each containing a maximum of 500,000 words per source, totaling up to 25 million words across all sources in a notebook • Supported formats: Google Docs, Google Slides, PDFs, text files, web pages, copied text, YouTube video URL 📌 Getting started • Upload your content sources. If what you want to query is only available online, save (or print) the web page as a PDF and then save it to your computer. Then add it as a source in your Notebook. • Now, start asking questions about your policy or contract, such as identifying special clauses, loopholes, and understanding your rights and responsibilities. • NotebookLM will not only find the language that answers your specific questions but also point you to the exact spot in the contract where the information is located. 💡 Your queries in NotebookLM do not need to be as detailed as your prompts on other platforms. It already knows it's job, you can just ask it direct questions. ⚡For insurance policies you can ask things like:  "What is the maximum payout of this policy and what factors determine total compensation?" "How long does [company] have to settle claims?" "What damages and loss are covered under this policy?"    ⚡For business contracts you can ask things like: "What types of actions or events will cause me to be in breech of this contract?" "Under which jurisdiction will any legal actions fall under?" "By signing this contract, what rights will I be waving?" "What does this contract say about arbitration?" ⚡ Understanding Terms of Service Agreements "How many data partners is my information shared with?" "What rights do I have to have all of my data erased?" "What constitutes business needs when it comes to deleting accounts and all data associated with it?" You get the picture. 📌 Privacy Tip Before uploading your contracts and policies redact any personally identifying information in the contract such as your name, address, policy numbers and so on...using Adobe Acrobat or whatever PDF or document editor you have. 👋 Don't get left behind. ✨ 𝟮𝟱 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 📅 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟱 - 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗚𝗣𝗧 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝟭 𝗼𝗳 𝟮) 📌 The on-off method. Also works with ChatGPT, and probably ClaudeAI although I have tested it there. Due to the character limitations I've had to break this up into 2 posts. Credit: I'm pretty sure Grace Leung inspired this post. Upon testing I discovered another option which I explain below. 📌 Why you should do this? When using LLMs to spark content ideas you want the output to be as close to your own style and your unique voice as possible to reduce time editing. 📌 What you will need • Examples of your writing. Blog posts, articles or create examples to use. • The target market, customer avatar docs we created on Day 1 and 2. • You may need the Pro or paid versions of the platform (sorry). ⚠️Limitations ChatGPT has customization options that allow you to to give it notes on style and tone, but it is a little cumbersome. The best way to create a writing assistant with ChatGPT that writes in your voice is to create a GPT, or do the one-off method of uploading your preference examples with the prompt. We're going to do the later first. 📌 The set up: • Gather your writing examples. Name them by each style you're uploading. • Example: If your instructional articles are a different style than your blog posts, name it "instructional" and reference it when you need assistance creating similar articles. When creating your prompt, you're going to attach: • The writing style you want to emulate. • Your target market and customer avatar docs. 📜The Prompt: "I want you to write a [type of article and number of words] in my unique style and tone. To help you understand my writing voice, I am uploading example articled to reference. Please analyze the exampled to identify: • Sentence structure and flow. • Vocabulary and word choice. • Tone (e.g., professional, conversational, formal, etc.). • Any specific stylistic elements (e.g., use of humor, metaphors, or detailed explanations). Based on this analysis, generate a new article on [insert details] ensuring it matches the style and tone of the uploaded example. The new article should: • Be engaging and relevant to the specified audience docs I've shared. • Maintain consistency with my established style and tone. • Use headers and bullet points to better organize the content for readability. • Include any notes or observations you made about my style that influenced your approach." 📌 Test and Refine: • If the output isn’t quite right, provide specific feedback: "Make the tone friendlier." "Use shorter sentences." "Target college educated readers experienced in (whatever). • Use your creativity to fine tune the output so that it matches your needs. 👋 Don't get left behind. ✨ 𝟮𝟱 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 📅 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟱 (𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱) - 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗚𝗣𝗧 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝟮 𝗼𝗳 𝟮) 📌 The GPT method You need a ChatGPT Pro subscription to create custom GPTs. If you're new to doing this you can simply ask ChatGPT to guide you, "I need to create a GPT. Please provide step by step instructions". After you start a new GPT and are on the build/edit screen, continue here: 📌 What you will need • Examples of your writing style, • Your target market, and customer avatar docs from days 1 and 2. 📌Upload documents In the GPT settings below the instruction window, upload your documents and writing examples. 📌 Give your GPT it's instructions. I'm sharing the instructions from my own marketing GPT as an example to emulate, rework, and edit for your specific needs. After all my instructions, and fine tuning, this is what ChatGPT narrowed it down to. I broke up the text so that it's readable. ChatGPT just crams it all together in the instruction window. 📜Instructions "The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the marketing and promotional efforts of Remote Desk One, a small business IT support and consulting company. Website: https://remotedesk.one. Leveraging the power of OpenAI's ChatGPT technology, this assistant generates creative and engaging content for various platforms including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media. It crafts ideas and composes LinkedIn posts, and assists in creating slogans, press releases, and blog posts. The assistant tailors content to address the unique challenges faced by small business owners and professionals in non-tech industries, making complex technology concepts approachable and user-friendly. Its role is to make Remote Desk One IT support and consulting services accessible, enjoyable, and beneficial to a broad audience, while enhancing the companies' digital presence. The assistant maintains a friendly and professional tone, focusing on showcasing the user-friendly and practical nature of these services. It's committed to bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and everyday users, aiming to make the world of AI and IT consulting more accessible and enjoyable." Additional: "The assistant will reference the examples to ensure clear communication with my audience and for brand consistency." 📌 Test. Edit. Refine. • Ask GPT to create test content using your instructions. • Add relevant details such as word count, and areas of focus. For example: "Write a 500 word introduction to a blog post about [topic] in my instructional style for my target audience" 📌 Always review and edit your content. 👋 Don't get left behind. ✨ 𝟮𝟱 Days of 𝗔𝗜 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 📅 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟰 - 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻  Today I get into controversial territory that, from what I've seen around here, infuriates marketers and copywriters. While I agree that your human experiences and insights give your content depth, and of course a human should review and edit all AI generated content, that doesn't mean we can't use these amazing tools to automate and fill in skills gaps. 📌 What does this prompt do? It will help you create a fully customized and actionable marketing plan tailored to your business and it's needs. The prompt is designed to ask you questions as needed for clarity. 📌Preparation We're going to use the target audience, customer avatar , and competitive research docs that we created in Days 1, 2 & 3 and attach those docs in the prompt window 🔗 and instruct the LLM to refer to them. 📜 The prompt: " Act as an experienced marketing researcher in [insert your industry or niche]. Referring to the target audience, customer avatar, and competitive research docs I've shared, develop a comprehensive and customized marketing plan for my business. My business website is [insert your URL]. You may ask detailed questions as needed to understand key aspects of my business, including: • The nature of my business and the industry it operates in. • My target audience's demographics, needs, and preferences. • My short-term and long-term business goals. • Any existing marketing efforts or strategies I’ve already implemented. • My preferred marketing budget and timeline. Referring to the docs that I've uploaded [list the file names of the uploaded docs] create a detailed marketing plan that should include: • A market analysis highlighting trends and opportunities in my industry. • Identification of my primary and secondary target audiences. • Suggested marketing strategies tailored to my goals and audience. • Recommended marketing channels and platforms to use. • An actionable implementation timeline with steps and milestones. • Any additional insights or innovative ideas that could benefit my business. Please ensure that the plan is practical, easy to understand, and adaptable to my business size and resources. Feel free to ask additional questions as needed for clarity and fine tuning." [Optional: Insert specific focus areas like "digital marketing" or "local advertising" if applicable.] 📌 Best use case for the prompt: This is ideal for bootstrapping small business owners who want to establish a structured marketing strategy from scratch, or start-ups crafting a business plan. It works best when you provide clear and detailed answers about your business goals and use follow up prompts to fine tune. Have any of you been using AI in your marketing efforts? If so, how has it been working out? #Marketing #StartUps #Perplexity #AI
