November is a very special month for Kitsap Credit Union. Did you know that Kitsap Credit Union was established in November 1934? This November marks our 90th Anniversary. In celebration, this month's sticker pays homage to our history and recognizes important pieces of our brand over the years. Do you recognize any of these logos or design elements from your time with Kitsap Credit Union over the past 90 years? Tell us in the comments below! The first thing you might recognize is our foundational logo from 1934 when we were first named “Navy Yard Metal Trades Credit Union.” No small task when this original logo only existed in photographs. Next, the illustration of the Mountain is from the KCU logo used during the turn of the century. This logo was very iconic and aligned to our credit union when it was under its federal charter. Also know by many as KCFCU. We wanted to encapsulate all this in a shape that was fun and recognizable. So we chose the look of a sandblasted National Parks sign to bring it all together and underlined the design with our most current logo and tag line. Stop by your local Kitsap Credit Union branch to get your hands on these limited-edition stickers before they’re gone!

Join us in wishing Jennifer a Happy 10-Year Anniversary here at Kitsap Credit Union! Jennifer shared that her favorite part about being at KCU is the opportunity to grow. Having started as a part-time teller, she worked her way up through Lending to her current role in Support Services. She also mentioned that some of her happiest memories include kettle counting at the Salvation Army with the KCU team during the holidays. "Thank you for the last 10 years of hard work and dedication to serving our membership!" said her manager, Michelle.

We had an amazing time at this year's MAXX Conference, organized by the GoWest Credit Union Association! It's always inspiring to connect with others in the credit union community, sharing insights and celebrating our collective efforts toward helping our members achieve their financial goals. Simon Powley, CRO of Kitsap Credit Union, shared: "The MAXX conference was really outstanding. The content was both relevant and helpful. Overall, it was great to spend time with likeminded organizations." Here’s to building strong partnerships moving forward!
