Update on Labor Dispute at US East and Gulf Coast Ports We're closely monitoring the labor situation as the contract between USMX and the ILA expires on September 30, 2024. While past negotiations have typically resolved without major disruption, the likelihood of a strike is increasing. A work stoppage could lead to port congestion, delays, and supply chain disruptions for US importers, exporters, and trading partners. Each day of disruption could create significant backlogs. Thank you for your patience and support. We’ll keep you updated on any developments. For questions regarding your shipments, please reach out to intermodal@knichellogistics.com.
