We're hiring! If you're a VP of Product in security, we'd love to hear from you. #Cybersecurity #Hiring #VPProduct #StartupLife #AI #ProductLeadership #CISOlife
Building a world-class AI security company at Knostic | CISO-in-Residence for the Professional Association of CISOs
Hey, are you a VP Product in security? Join Sounil Yu, me, and the team, at the future market juggernaut, our startup Knostic. We do AI security, focusing on making the adoption of LLM at enterprises happen, by tying it to immediate business needs. Then, we're building a moat directly embedded into our vision of what the future enterprise looks like, with our technology at its core. And lastly, leaving focus behind and daring to dream, is the future of of civilization itself, with safe AI. This is a unique opportunity to be one of the first key hires, working closely with Sounil, myself, and the rest of the team to shape our product vision and roadmap. And let's be honest, as the one leading product - the company itself. Knostic has earned industry recognition by winning the RSAC Launch Pad and Black Hat Startup Spotlight competitions, gaining momentum with early adopters—all without a marketing budget. Now, we’re ready to level up, and that’s where you come in. This isn’t just a VP Product role—it’s an opportunity to build, lead, and make a significant impact from early traction to scale. If you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy building from scratch, and love collaborating with founders and engineering teams, this role is for you. The Ideal Candidate: - Hands-on leader: You don’t mind getting into the weeds and executing when needed (you get things done) - Enterprise product experience: You’re comfortable building solutions for large, complex organizations (enterprise readiness is a thing) - Startup-savvy: Experience working in early-stage startups, navigating uncertainty, and loving the thrill of the journey (get under the stretcher, lead us forward, context switching ftw) - Technical understanding: Familiarity with cybersecurity and AI is a huge plus (we speak security, we build security) - Strategic thinker: Able to build a long-term roadmap while delivering quick wins along the way (startups are tactical, but trenches or not - product builds our future) - Collaborative team player: You thrive in working with founders, engineers, and key partners, moving toward shared goals (we're a team) - Location: Israel-based position with collaboration across time zones (position is in IL, but we have team members all around) More on us: https://knostic.ai/ If this sounds like you—or someone you know—we’d love to hear from you! #Hiring #VPProduct #StartupLife #AI #Cybersecurity #ProductLeadership #CISOlife

Thanks, Pramod Gosavi, for recognizing that AI security encompasses multiple categories, and for being the first to segment it based not on theory, but on practice. With LLMs, traditional access control boundaries are broken in a ‘flat knowledge’ landscape (borrowed from flat networks). Users have access far beyond their need-to-know boundaries, forcing organizations to slow down their adoption of LLM projects, particularly for enterprise search. @Knostic is the world’s first provider of need-to-know based access controls for LLMs. We'd be happy to show you what we do - request a demo at https://knostic.ai/
Updating the Security for AI landscape from 6 months ago. Roughly can be categorized into 1) Incumbent network security vendors: Palo Alto Networks, Netskope announced products. Expect Zscaler, Fortinet, Cloudflare to follow. Cisco acquired Robust Intelligence (now part of Cisco) 2) Cloud providers: AWS announced a Bedrock Guardrails product this week 3) Cloud and DSPM/Data security vendors: Wiz, Cyera, Bedrock, Cyberhaven, NightFall, Private AI, IBM (Polar security) 3) Prev gen AI governance vendors: Fiddler, Arize, Arthur, Credo, Apporia, etc 4) GenAI governance vendors: Singulr, WitnessAI, Lanai 5) Gen 1 security vendors (started before 2022): Lakera, ProtectAI, Hidden Layer, Calypso, Adversa, Troj AI, AIShield, Portal26 etc 6) Gen 2 Gen AI security vendors: Harmonic , Aim Security , Apex, Lasso Security , Prompt Security , Pillar Security, Opsin , Straiker, Cranium , Unbound (YC S24), Swift Security, Acuvity 7) Access governance pure plays: Knostic, @Langsafe, Daxa, Inc etc LAPD got you covered regardless of your zipcode!

For the first time ever, Aaron Bregg, Anthony Coggins and I were left speechless...for a few seconds at least. This is a preview of an absolutely fascinating conversation with Sounil Yu from Knostic about the differences between data and knowledge and how Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models are creating new challenges and opportunities for security teams around the globe. Link to full episode is in the comments. Please give this one a listen and like, comment and subscribe! #AI #LLM #NotAnotherDemo **and as always, we don't get paid for these episodes and the views expressed are ours and ours alone**

Our CTO Sounil Yu was a guest speaker on an episode of #NotAnotherDemo with the ReallyBadSecurity #podcast team hosted by Matt and friends. They spent the time doing a deep dive discussion with Sounil around #AI and #LLMs, learning that securing data and securing knowledge are two very different things. They also covered how Knostic is helping organizations get a handle on their knowledge both in public AI spaces as well as private LLMs. Truly an awesome episode and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did! https://lnkd.in/gAuB2cA3
