"Today's students need a purpose; most importantly, they want impact and relevance in their learning." 👏 👏 👏
I am honored to be invited as a guest writer and contributor to the Next Gen Learning Challenges blog, where I discussed the need for school system transformation. Thank you to Dr. Kathryn Kennedy for the invitation to help elevate my voice alongside my students. My learnings have come from my commitment and work with the Nevada Department of Education and the Portrait of a Nevada Learner with Jeanine Collins, KnowledgeWorks, and the Nevada Future of Learning Network. My writing and learnings inspire our system to adapt more urgently to our learners and educators because the future is NOW, not tomorrow, not in five years, but honestly now. My journey as #NVSTOY24 has been quite the journey, and I'm honored every day to share my greatest strength as a teacher and human: my voice. Thank you to all who have followed, continue to follow, and have been my greatest supporters. https://lnkd.in/gENh2zkP
