McGraw Kokosing team members recently volunteered at an event for Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) to build beds. 🔨🛏️ SHP believes that a bed is a basic need for proper physical, emotional, and mental support that every child deserves. They are on a mission to make sure no child sleeps on the floor across the nation. We built and assembled 80 beds for families in our community! The Solar team was thrilled to participate in the first sustainable infrastructure project development workshop hosted by the Appalachian Sustainable Finance Hub and the City of Athens, Ohio! 👏 Held on-site at the Athens Eastside Solar complex, this event allowed municipal leaders across Appalachian Counties to see firsthand how the City of Athens is harnessing solar power to drive sustainable energy solutions for their municipal facilities. ☀️ The group was given a tour of the solar array Kokosing Solar installed for the City and had the opportunity to share insights with industry peers on advancing sustainable infrastructure projects in the region. 🔆 A huge thank you to the Appalachian Sustainable Finance Hub (Heartland Capital Strategies) and the City of Athens, Ohio, for including us in such a meaningful conversation about the future of sustainable energy! 🎉 #Kokosing #KokosingSolar #SustainableEnergy

Kokosing Construction is nearing the completion of the 16 Tech Bridge and Roadway project! The project scope included a new bridge and an accompanying roadway through the center of the 16 Tech District in downtown Indianapolis, IN. This signature bridge has a unique design that uses the same structural concepts as a standard suspension bridge, but instead of cables, utilizes a collection of structural steel waves to support the structure! The bridge, which is already an aesthetic structure, has been outfitted with ornamental features including a buff-wash finish on the bridge deck sidewalks, stainless steel cable rails, and LED lights that highlight the bridge's unique structural features at night. Our team is very pleased with all the progress made on this project and we're very excited to open the bridge in 2025! #Kokosing #KokosingConstruction #IndianapolisUpdate

Kokosing recently attended the Council for Dredging and Marine Construction Safety (CDMCS) annual meeting in Washington, D.C., where our dredging superintendent, Harry Tolson, won the CDMCS 2024 Safety Leadership Award!! 🏆 CDMCS is a unified voice for safety in the dredging and marine construction industry and represents the formal partnership between contractors and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
