A century ago, Turner Construction Company proudly constructed the Nurses’ Dormitory at the University of Rochester, a landmark project designed to address the growing demand for healthcare professionals by providing living and communal spaces. This project was one of Turner’s earliest contributions to healthcare infrastructure, embodying our lasting commitment to creating spaces that support both patient care and the dedicated professionals who make it possible. To commemorate Turner’s 100th anniversary in healthcare and celebrate the legacy of this project, we designed and distributed a special lapel pin to the University of Rochester Medical Center staff. This pin represents our deep respect and gratitude for the unwavering compassion and dedication of nurses—truly the heart of healthcare.
