Meet Leah Tran, our fall PR and social media intern! Leah is a fourth-year student at North Carolina State University pursuing degrees in Communication and English, and is Co-Editor in Chief of Platform Magazine, a student publication focused on fashion and culture. Prior to Koroberi, Leah gained social media and marketing experience with non-profit organizations and conducted literary research for her professors. In her spare time, Leah loves to read, write and walk around Lake Johnson. She usually has a camera in her hand and she’s always ready to capture a moment with her loved ones or a pretty sunset.

Meet Dave Ellis, senior content writer and the newest full-time member of the K-Team. Prior to his career in marketing, Dave spent over 20 years as a video game writer and designer for licenses like Adventure Time, Despicable Me and Kung Fu Panda, and was the winner of the first Writers Guild of America award for video game writing in 2008. In the last decade, Dave has brought his talent for understanding and writing in the voice of an existing franchise or brand identity to B2B marketing, in industries ranging from IT to biotech. Outside of work, Dave is a collector of arcade video games and pinball machines, and recently returned to the world of (amateur) filmmaking with the 2023 release of an award-winning short film that he wrote, directed, shot and edited. He also loves to sing and can be found, microphone in hand, just about every other Friday on karaoke night at one of his local breweries.
