Our CEO Qasim Rizvi comments on our second clinical eTIL® program, KSQ-004EX, which has best-in-class potential in the treatment of advanced solid tumor indications. https://bit.ly/3zxIvSy KSQ-004EX consists of TIL in which the genes encoding SOCS1 and Regnase-1 are inactivated using CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing. KSQ's platform identified SOCS1 and Regnase-1 as key regulators of anti-tumor potency and persistence of TIL in preclinical models.

This weekend the #KSQCellCyclers participated in the American Cancer Society’s Bicycles Battling Cancer fundraiser by riding 30, 50 or 100 miles through Massachusetts and New Hampshire . In recent years, our team has raised over $30,000 to support the ACS. This week, members of the KSQ team will present and participate in a panel discussion at the 9th Annual CAR-TCR Summit. We look forward to seeing our friends and colleagues at the meeting.  #CARTCRSummit   Micah Benson, our CSO, will present on how we’ve engineered our eTIL® programs for hard-to-treat tumors, and Sean Smith will be part of a panel on CMC strategy to aid regulatory submissions.

We celebrated this year’s “Dog Days of Summer” by showcasing our collective adoration for our fur and feathered family members! In addition, our KSQumans gathered in-kind donations for the Animal Rescue League of Boston to help local animals in need. Thank you, Kelly Bowen, for this wonderful initiative. The excitement around the Olympics is infectious; be it the incredible performances or the inspiring stories of perseverance and teamwork, there is much to cheer for and enjoy. We recently hosted and had great fun at our very own KSQlympics. Executive Committee members carried the symbolic torch and participated in a lab skill-based opening game. Other fellow colleagues competed in the ping-pong tournament, cheered on by their peers. Congratulations to all our winners! #teamwork #culture
