Kumar & Associates provides geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, environmental sciences, construction observation and materials testing services for projects in the areas of building and land development, transportation, water resources and mining. We also provide forensic engineering and expert opinion for geotechnical engineering projects. Established in 1989, we are a Colorado based company headquartered in Denver with additional offices located in Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Parker, Glenwood Springs and Summit County. It is with the deepest regret of the Busby Family we post this message. On 12/10/23 our mom, Sandie, passed away after several years of battling a rare and aggressive cancer. We will be holding a Celebration of Life Ceremony to honor her memory on Saturday, 1/6/2024 at 12:30pm. The ceremony will be hosted by Discovery Church in Broomfield (2605 W 144th Ave.) with a reception following after. We would like all friends, family, colleagues, and her community present. Please share this so that we can ensure maximum attendance.

K+A’s Arben Kalaveshi and GE Johnson’s Christine Sosnowski had the opportunity to lead tours of the U.S. Air Force Academy Hotel and Convention Center project with AFA cadets currently enrolled in geotechnical courses last Friday and today. The group toured an active construction project and learned about the geotechnical considerations and construction challenges involved with the construction of this unique facility.
