LEGENDS in the water/wastewater industry. Larry Perry and Jim Lefever have been in the construction industry for over 110 years combined! Some of you may know them from their days at BayCon General, Perry Lefever, Inc., W/S, or their current home at L7 Construction. We are so grateful to be able to have their wisdom, leadership, knowledge, and enthusiasm on our team. If you happen to be around our office on a day they both are in, it is easy to get lost in their reminiscing or story's from the past. While they are both part time, we are blessed to have them. Having resources to be able to bounce ideas off of and mentor our staff is "priceless". If you have had the pleasure of working with these guys, drop a note and let us know where?

Halloween season can be scary enough, safety shouldn’t be! #Halloween #ConstructionSafety #Safety
There’s nothing “spookier” than a workplace accident. It’s crucial to wear Hi-Vis clothing the second you step onto a jobsite. You also should stay hydrated (with water), avoid smoking on the job, and don’t play around on the jobsite…it’s too late for this guy, but it’s not too late for you! (We have extra office visitors in the month of October, you can thank my office roommate for the inspiration). #spookyseason #safety #October L7 Construction, Inc.

We've successfully wrapped up our Sykes Creek project, a journey that started in August 2021. This involved a complete overhaul of the existing WWTF headworks - goodbye old equipment, pipes, metals, and concrete. We also took care to remove and properly dispose of the contents of the structure. To ensure smooth operations, we set up a temporary bypass while we worked on the demolition. Once the new headworks was ready to roll, the L7 crew removed the temporary bypass. The new structure was carefully designed, with excavation and dewatering included in the process. It now boasts new pipes, valves, barscreens, grit equipment, slide gates, coatings, handrail, grating, and stairs. We also installed a wet tap and a line stop on the existing influent line, while also making necessary electrical and instrumentation modifications. We even added a new pre-fabricated electrical building. The project also involved refurbishing the valve vault with new pipes, valves, fittings, and supports. We didn't forget about the surroundings - there's new asphalt and sod around the site, and we took care of an oak tree that was too close to the influent pipe. The project also required relocation of the existing 12" ductile forcemain as it was in the way of the new structure. All in all, it's been a successful project and we're proud of what we've achieved. We're grateful for the opportunity to work on this project and look forward to the next challenge! #BrevardCounty #ConstructionProjects #Wastewater
