Gold nugget about content strategy from Jorge Gomez Mantellini Every week I look forward to Monday night because it's when we record our Podcast about Movies. We do it for the love of it and not worry too much about optimizing for SEO or conversion. As Jorge said, there's no trick - just consistency in creating content that we're passionate about and if we get a few people to nerd out with us about movies then that's a win. Also, if you're curious - you can follow our "Estreno Exclusivo" podcast in Spotify and Youtube. Link to our latest episode about Fight Club in the comments

How can you improve your content strategy?! Be consistent and patient. Back in August, we released a new weekly podcast - Estreno Exclusivo, a show by La Hacienda - a space where we talk about movies that we consider rewatchable and all the factoids and cultural impact that you can think of (it's in Spanish though - I'll drop a link in the comments). Our numbers haven't been anything to write home about. This is sort of a vanity project for us, like a book club but with cameras on (and not books but movies). We don't expect it to be a hit. It's something we're doing mostly for ourselves and our close ones. However, this past week we saw a notable increase in our metrics after we released our 7th (!) episode. The metrics? - 74% more views - 568% more impressions With no money behind it, and by doing absolutely NOTHING different than the past few weeks. The trick? No trick, really. Just the fact that we have been posting constantly every week on the same day and time for the past 7 weeks. That's it. The product might be of high quality (or not), but the main cause of these results is just .. consistency and patience. ------------- Shoutout to our hosts Jose and Fernando for bringing your enthusiasm and knowledge week in and week out on our show!

    WE OPENED A STUDIO 🙏🏼❤️

We opened a studio! - 🎥 📸🎞️🎙️🎚️ Here’s a little snippet of a live session - (as my musical alter ego “Tornado Hogan”) recorded at our very own La Hacienda studios, our new spot in the greater Boston Area - - a cover of a song by one of my heroes, “The Boss” Bruce Springsteen. Starting in September, we’ll be able to support your video, photo, audio recording needs in our small but mighty studio space. - photo shoots - video shoots (talking heads, explainers, interviews) - podcasts (We even have a green screen) We recorded this and other songs in an afternoon - (imagine what we can do for your brand with some time and budget) 🙂↕️ Despite the difficult times back home 🇻🇪- we are committed to keep working and being true representatives of the values of our people, and we are committed to be agents of change through our work and through culture - and this new step is a great way to move forward in that mission, and have a reason to celebrate despite the dark times. Peace.

A new week - as a 🇻🇪 abroad, that has to keep living “normal life” of course, this will be a titanic task - not only because most of us have family, friends and loved ones back home - but because the memories, are also really painful. We have gone through life - away from where we are from, not feeling from here or from there anymore. we arrive into our hosts countries, where some of them despise us - others love us — but then something happens, a native tries to explain the situation of your own country, because they “read” about it on some biased publication during their liberal arts college years (or because they like to project their own “guilt”) And we get mad, we try to tell our story - nobody really hears us, nobody really understand us - we are alone but we have each other. A diaspora like many - bonded by the share pain, by the things that we couldn’t live, and the people that we remember. From my little corner of the world, The only thing I’m asking my network - is their companionship and support, check on your 🇻🇪 friends, colleagues, teammates, family. If you want to learn about what’s really happening - I’m sure they’ll be happy to point you to real sources of news and information. We are going through a lot - and for many, the burden is getting heavier by the minute. Y si eres venezolano - que el cielo te cuide, la tierra te ame y el sol te proteja. estamos juntos 🇻🇪 ¡Viva Venezuela libre! (If you want to contribute directly I’m sharing a like to an org I support in the comments)

Mass Cultural Council reached out to La Hacienda so we could help them amplify the #powerofculture We have been working really hard on some vibrant content to highlight and inform what the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is aiming to do for the culture, arts and communities. It’s been a very fulfilling project for us and we hope that we can keep ourselves in the conversation about how culture and the arts shape better professionals, humans and communities. (Always through producing cool stuff 🫡) Thank you Carmen Sofia Plazas and Dawn Heinen for the trust #creativedirection #motiongraphics #aftereffects

    Meet our founders ❤️

This is La Hacienda - our fun little corner for great ideas and creative innovation. It all started when these two Venezuelan dudes decided to start something different on their own. Something meaningful. We have our brilliant and eccentric Creative Director, Gonzalo Veloz. He loves ALL things art and music, and he's known as the one-and-only Tornado Hogan 🎸 And we have the Wearer of All Hats, Jorge Gomez Mantellini (that's me). I'm probably one of the most extroverted introverts you'll ever meet, and I have a non-healthy relationship with sports (especially futbol) ⚽ We specialize in branding and video production (although we love and do most things "creative") and we would love to continue helping brands grow and reach their goals by creating memorable and effective creative assets. Want to help? Let everyone know that we exist 😂 ❤️

"Mental health, you have to treat it like your knee. If your knee is wrong, you won't be able to walk. If your mind is wrong, it's foggy, then you won't be able to function as an adult." 🚨 New episode alert 🚨 On this week's episode of 'Why Not Both?' we have our very own co-founder and COO of La Hacienda, Jorge Gomez Mantellini, highlighting the significant role movies and media play in our lives, and the importance of mental health, particularly in the Latinx community. ————————— Want to start a podcast on your own but don't know how or where to start? Your brand's aesthetic and look-and-feel may be absolutely stunning, but ultimately be hurting your business 💀 Take a step back and reevaluate your branding approach - shift the focus from aesthetics to value. Here are some things to avoid: 🎨 Prioritizing style over everything else - better have an authentic and memorable logo than a "perfect" or a very pretty one. 🗣 Misalignment with your audience - understand what they need and cater to them. Speak their language, not yours. 🖨 Lack of adaptability - embrace change and new trends. Evolve with your audience. ✅ Overdoing consistency - don't be afraid to draw outside of the lines from time to time. Be human. 🛒 Neglecting functionality - practical beats aesthetic. Your branding should be user-friendly, both for your sake and your audience's. TL;DR: aesthetics should enhance your brand, not limit it. #brand #branding #storytelling #marketing #creative #leadgeneration #digitalmarketing #contentmarketing
