It was Halloween Party Time at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago (Bartlett J. McCartin Boys & Girls Clubs)!   Some 50 area kids poured into the Club, and they were still arriving as this Lakesider left. The young revelers were there to show off their costumes and decorate a pumpkin, which Lakeside Bank was happy to provide! (We also brought decorating materials) And there just may be Halloween snacks to enjoy, too!   Some of the pumpkins seemed bigger than the kids lugging them to the decorating table! The “𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝑭𝒖𝒏 𝑭𝒆𝒔𝒕” at Lakeside Bank’s Elmhurst branch was SO much fun! Some 150 of our neighbors came and enjoyed burgers, pizza, hot dogs, face painting, the various animals the Reptile Guy brought … and decorating the pumpkins Lakeside provided. And every kid in costume got a gold dollar coin! Grace Demes, has been giving children gold dollar coins for years. “Grace’s Gold” we call it! And to add to the festive atmosphere, the entire Lakeside Elmhurst team dressed up as the characters from the Wizard of Oz! Everyone pitched in and made dog toys for PAWS Chicago too, using tennis balls and t-shirts Lakeside Bank provided.
