As we close out Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to give a shout-out to Lakewood Ranch Medical Group who sponsored and participated in the Tara Golf & Country Club Breast Cancer Awareness Golf Scramble on Saturday. We're paws-itively in love with our new additions to the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Pet Therapy program. We recently welcomed "Blue" and his handler, Steve along with "Dexter" and his handler, Tim to the team. These duos have already provided plenty of cuddles and smiles for our patients, visitors, and staff members. We look forward to these weekly visits from our four-legged friends.

In preparation for the ACS Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk (now rescheduled for Dec. 8), our Walk team has been busy raising funds for the past few months. From selling bracelets and T-shirts to food, sunglasses, and cups, we thank our employees for supporting the ACS and the important services they offer people who have received a cancer diagnosis.
