What a beautiful evening on Monday, as welcomed an incredible turnout to the largest Merchant Mixer ever hosted by the Lancaster City Alliance and the Downtown Investment District! LCA President Marshall Snively expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mikaela Carlson, Cliff Starr, Hans Schreiber, and the entire team at The Exchange Lancaster for their exceptional hospitality. Marshall raised a glass to our guests – the small business community of the City of Lancaster, emphasizing that they are the heartbeat of Lancaster, and it's been thriving this year! In 2024 alone, Lancaster City Alliance hosted 21 official ribbon cuttings for new businesses—almost half of which are BIPOC-owned and more than half are women-owned. That's something to celebrate! As we look forward to the Milestone Awards in November at the Ware Center, we will have honored nearly 100 local businesses for their longevity and resilience in our community throughout 2024. With so much to celebrate, including the gorgeous weather, Marshall concluded his toast with a resounding ✨ SALUD! in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month.
