JV student interns had the opportunity to speak with Hannah Burrell, who works in Human Resources for Target. Hannah presented interview tips, discussed what qualities she looks for when hiring, how to maintain employment, and advice for young adults entering the workforce. The student interns won Target Bullseye dogs by acing a game of interview trivia! Student interns were very appreciative of all of the insight Hannah was able to share with them. #WorkWorthDoing

Mrs. Bard’s class enjoyed an educational trip to the Solanco fair. Days before the field trip, students learned about different farm animals. They learned about the life cycle of pumpkins and apples. At the fair students experienced different farms animals and the care they need. They got to see different fruits and vegetables. The students had a good time. 🐄🥕🍎#WorkWorthDoing

School-To-Work at LVC practiced teamwork playing Minute to Win it games in teams, which helped students learn to work together and improve communication towards a common goal while having some fun. They also shared many laughs! 😄#WorkWorthDoing

Students in Mr. Bopp’s class recently learned about bus schedules and what to expect when using public transportation. They then practiced using the RRTA system to go to Central Market in Lancaster City. At Central Market, students practiced using the dollar-up method and which bill is the most appropriate in making a purchase. 🚌🛍️ 💵#WorkWorthDoing
