The Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition

The Lancaster Bar Association & Lancaster Law Foundation partnered with The Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition, and MidPenn Legal Services to organize a Pro Bono Name Change Clinic. This clinic welcomed all adult residents of Lancaster County, including transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming persons, offering legal assistance for changing their names. LBA attorneys volunteered to provide guidance and legal support to aid in the process of the legal name changes. Cheers to a very happy Hugo, and all the others who had the deserving opportunity to participate in this name change clinic!🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

Our Creative Director Ellie Cochran and volunteer pyr Farnsworth guest lectured today at Franklin & Marshall College's Identity, Power, and Inequality class today on behalf of the Coalition! They delivered a brief and informative reflection on their lived experiences as trans individuals and their work with the Coalition, providing valuable insights and perspectives for the students. A huge thanks to Ryan Trainor, Christian Perry, and the class' peer facilitators (including our former intern Michael Vasquez!) for the invitation and opportunity to promote the voices of trans individuals in the Lancaster community.

Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition is beyond grateful for the outpouring of support we received during the this year's Extra Give!
