When extreme weather hits, how do you ensure your city will supply water? The 2.5 MG Composite Elevated Tank designed for the City of Port Arthur showcases how water infrastructure can be designed to withstand any storm. It utilizes: • Pump station to ensure the tank remains full • Office space, kitchen, and living area to house critical staff during an extreme weather event • Dual overhead doors and empty first floor to withstand over 12 feet of storm surge For coastal municipalities facing extreme environmental conditions, choosing the right elevated tank is essential to ensure service continuity during storms and disaster relief efforts. Having the opportunity to work for NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration at the Johnson Space Center is an exceptional honor! This project came with unique challenges, including strict security protocols, detailed scheduling, and a tank 219 feet in height. Our Landmark project management team efficiently coordinated subcontractor entry, material and supply trucks, our crews, and other logistics, ensuring every movement in-and-out was escorted as required. Through the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, this 750,000 gallon Composite Elevated Tank project was completed on-time. #NASA #Landmark #WaterInfrastructure #CompositeElevatedTanks #WaterTankExperts #WaterSolutions #ProjectManagement
