More than 170 Landstar employees learned about pedestrian and bicycle safety, semi-trailer truck awareness and the Truckers Against Trafficking nonprofit organization at last Wednesday's Safety Fair. The Florida Highway Patrol presented at the event and offered attendees a view from a truck cab, showing the dangers of blind spots around tractor-trailers for drivers. Additionally, a rollover simulator allowed viewers a compelling live demonstration that illustrated the importance of properly wearing your seat belt!
