About us
Langford Community Management Services, Inc. (LCMS) has been serving Texas Cities and Counties and their grant writing and administration needs for over 38 years. LCMS incorporated as a Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) in 1997, having worked with numerous grants since 1983 as a sole proprietorship. LCMS became a certified HUB through the Secretary of State's office and has maintained that certification since 2009. As a Texas "home-grown" business, LCMS has chosen to concentrate in helping to strengthen Texas communities through community and economic development while advocating for affordable housing through local program development and statewide policy changes affecting Texas communities. Judy Langford, President and Owner, is actively engaged in every project we undertake, and will be integrally involved in every step along the way. With our roots in public service, LCMS strives to meet our clients' needs with the recognition that all local governments are in place to assist the public and provide basic services to sustain their communities.

The GLO team was recently in the City of Seadrift to conduct a kickoff workshop for $1,736,200 in regional mitigation funding to improve the local water system. The GLO’s program allows communities to prioritize projects that will have the greatest impact in fortifying the community against future disasters. ✅

Position Summary Langford Community Management Services, Inc. seeks an innovative, motivated, and talented Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing city and county Hazard Mitigation Plans and Resiliency Focused Comprehensive Plans utilizing the latest geo database tools, data collection methods, and GIS mapping. The position will include but is not limited to conducting stakeholder engagement and interviews to collect data, assisting with plan research and data collection, data management, analyzing community vulnerability, risk assessment, and technical writing. This position will office in Liberty Hill; however, some travel will be required for client meetings within the State of Texas.
