I have a life update and exciting news to share! Two months ago I started my internship with Last Night's Game, a company focused on simplifying sports knowledge and keeping people up to date with the latest sports news, helping them engage in small talk and build better connections. With my extensive knowledge and undying love for soccer, I knew I had to apply to Last Night’s Game. Although I originally applied for a role in marketing and communications, Amy Buchan Siegfried saw something more in me. I was offered a role in Business and Brand Development and it has been a complete blast! Amy had confidence in both Shira Black and me to help make a vision into reality. As a master in networking, Amy recognized the everyday challenges adults face in building meaningful connections and envisioned a way to simplify networking for everyone. As a team, we developed the idea of creating a new platform that offers educational resources to help people master both face-to-face and online networking. We took this brand from scratch and made it come to life: Cultivate a Network of Champions. I played a key role in conducting market research on competitors, selecting a logo, and creating content and resources for our platform. After two months of extensive work as a team, Cultivate a Network of Champions has officially launched! I’m incredibly proud to have been part of the journey, watching a brand I helped create to go from concept to reality. Hard work paid off! Check out our platform here: thenetworkofchampions.com. I still played a role in content creation for Last Night’s Game over the summer! I had a blast doing coverage on the Olympics, 2024 Euros, and 2024 Copa America! I want to express my gratitude to Amy Buchan Siegfried for having the confidence in me to be a part of the team. This summer has been a tremendous learning experience, allowing me to develop and refine key skills that are truly invaluable and will help me advance in my professional career. Thank you for your continuous support! I’m happy to announce that I will continue my role in Last Night’s Game and Cultivate a Network of Champions as Business Development for the 2024-25 school year! I look forward to the projects yet to come!

Communication & Media and Anthropology Student at the University of Michigan

As I move into my final year at the University of Michigan, I want to take a second to reflect on the two wonderful teams I had the privilege of working with this summer and look ahead to what's yet to come. 🐶 Best Friends Animal Society: I am working as a social media intern for this incredible nonprofit, which has the largest sanctuary for homeless animals in the U.S. and 5,000 partners across the country. Each day, I get to share stories and create fun, meaningful content that brings attention to adoptable animals and partner initiatives for our 3.3 million followers! I'm so grateful to be working with Katheryn White and such a creative and passionate team through the end of the year. 🥇 Last Night's Game: I was in great company working with one of the most supportive and productive people I've ever met, Amy Buchan Siegfried. Being involved in a wide range of marketing, communications, and content creation projects – while also launching a new brand called Cultivating a Network of Champions along with Max Ramirez-Resendiz – made this internship incredibly rewarding. 🏀 University of Michigan Athletics: I have moved from the Fan Experience department to Communications & PR, where I am thrilled to further develop my communications skills and work with Tom Wywrot and the Michigan men's basketball team. I’m excited to learn as much as I can in preparation for entering the professional sports world! 🔜 As I finish up my degree this semester, I am seeking a spring internship or full-time role in communications, public relations, or marketing before I officially graduate in May. I’m excited to bring my experiences and passion to a new team and make an impact! Super excited for what this year brings! 💙💛

Rookie Ricky Pearsall is showing his gratitude after he was shot nearly two weeks ago in an alleged attempted robbery in San Francisco. Sgt. Joelle Harrell and Dr. Lucy Kornblith were part of the team that saved Pearsall’s life. “It's a miracle, where he got shot is two inches below his tattoo with praying hands, like the whole story is kinda amazing," said head coach Kyle Shanahan. The 49ers won big last night over Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets. Pearsall is expected to make a full recovery. #nurselife #healthcare #doctor #team #gratitude #goodnews
