Earlier this week, we hosted "A Tale of Two Legacies," a powerful fireside chat exploring Moulin Rouge’s role in integrating the Las Vegas Strip and the Raiders’ legacy of social justice, including the historic 1963 preseason boycott when Black players took a stand against segregation. UNLV's Claytee White shared insights on Moulin Rouge’s impact on Las Vegas, while Raiders’ Mike Taylor discussed the team’s leadership in social justice and their long-standing commitment to equity. Raiders legend Raymond Chester provided a first-hand account of the players who helped shape this legacy. The engaging discussion featured historical insights, personal accounts, and a moderated conversation connecting past and present social justice efforts.
