  • 🎓 We are thrilled to announce that Majok Samuel received a Malengo Scholarship through their Uganda-Germany program! He is originally from South Sudan, and was a member of our Leadership Academy of South Sudan (LASS) Class of 2022. Majok has traveled to Germany to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences. 〰️ Malengo is a non-profit organization that facilitates international educational migration, specifically supporting students from low-income countries to pursue education abroad. Through financial support, mentorship, and a strong community, they help students unlock their full potential and create brighter futures. ⭐ His achievement highlights the growing global opportunities available to our students through strategic scholarship partnerships and demonstrates 4africa’s continued commitment to preparing students for international education and success. • I'm Alex Radler, and I’m the President of 4africa. I’m often asked, “Why African leaders?" It’s simple: Because the future of the world is dependent on the future of Africa. Did you know the continent is home to 30% of the planet’s natural resources? By 2030, young Africans are expected to comprise 42% of the world's youth, representing 75% of those under the age of 35. South Sudan is the world's youngest nation, and it is filled with abundant natural resources and resilient, God-fearing people. We created 4africa because Africa faces persistent, deeply rooted challenges, despite this enormous potential. We believe Africans deserve to have thriving businesses, flourishing families and communities, and ethical governments.  We measure our success through specific indicators like the percentage of our graduates who secure influential positions, the number of jobs they create, and the size of the communities they impact. Our current graduates are founding businesses that employ refugees, preparing for political leadership, and managing vital community resources. I encourage you to read a few of their stories on our blog. 🔗 4africa.com/blog These students are living proof of the profound change people can make when given the resources and skills coupled with a heart eager to give back.

  • ⭐ Meet Alice Abaya Ruth. She serves as the "Grandma" for her care group at LASS! What is a care group? 🔹 Students at our Leadership Academy are clustered into groups of 10 to 15 members with leaders who serve one-year terms. 🔹 These care groups are specifically composed of students from diverse tribal backgrounds to foster diversity and reconciliation. 🔹 Groups meet weekly for Discovery Bible Study, which is guided by structured questions about various texts of scripture. 🔹 Membership in care groups is permanent, with LASS alumni remaining part of their group whenever they return to campus. The men and women in 4africa’s leadership program are from diverse family backgrounds, tribes, languages, cultures, and countries. These include areas with civil and tribal wars, economic hardships, and broken families. Some of the tribes from which they originate are at odds with each other. Many had no hope for further education. When they enter the program, most are teenagers between the ages of 17 and 19 years—a formative life stage when they are very inquisitive, full of energy, and actively exploring their spirituality. Care groups are an instrumental part of their time at LASS—cultivating unity, teaching what it means to be a follower of Jesus, and creating a nurturing community for our students. 🙏🏼 To continue fostering the transformative impact of our care groups, we need your help. Your donation will directly support students like Alice and countless others who are discovering hope, unity, and spiritual growth at the Leadership Academy. With your generosity, we can provide essential resources for these life-changing programs, helping to bridge cultural divides and empower the next generation of leaders. Will you join us in making a difference? Donate today and be a part of this powerful movement toward reconciliation, healing, and education. 👉🏼 4africa.com

  • Deeply rooted generational problems, due to limited and poor leadership, hinder Africa from its great potential as a flourishing nation. Despite good intentions, most nonprofits perpetuate a cycle of short-term projects and dependency without addressing the deeper spiritual and physical needs at stake. That’s why we created 4africa—to equip Christ-centered East African leaders to create self-sustaining communities and countries. Our mission is to build a pipeline of Discipled Nation Builders in East Africa, transforming communities and countries spiritually, socially, and economically for generations to come. A Discipled Nation Builder lives a Christ-centered life, puts others before themselves, and relentlessly pursues their purpose, passion, and calling. Our ultimate goal is to eliminate the need for Western aid entirely, equipping Africans to solve African problems and lead self-sustaining countries. At our core is the message of Ephesians 4:12—”to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” (NIV)

  • 🌟 MEET PAUL During his time at LASS, Paul learned the importance of spiritual formation and the role of Christ-centered leadership in creating meaningful, lasting impact. This foundation was reinforced by the incredible mentors, peers and leaders in the LAOSA community, who guided Paul to discover his God-given strengths and how to use them in service. He shares, “They helped me see leadership not just as influence but as a commitment to serve others with humility and integrity.” Paul recently attended the Competency Development Conference III. Hosted by Youth for Christ International, the conference held in Tanzania brought together leaders from across eastern Africa. Paul was reminded of the power of spiritual formation in ministry and how it strengthens both personal and communal growth. He also gained deeper insights into effective communication and mentorship—skills that are critical for building relationships and inspiring the next generation. 👉🏼 Today, Paul is mentoring young people, organizing impactful programs, and working to cultivate a culture of unity and service. He is committed to building a South Sudan where young leaders rise up, embodying the teachings of Christ to foster peace, growth, and reconciliation. 🔗 Read Paul's full story on our blog: https://lnkd.in/dvX6DZ5y Paul exemplifies the impact of intentional discipleship, strong leadership, and a supportive community—core values that 4africa is committed to!
