Leadership Fellows New York is the premier professional development opportunity for mid-career nonprofit practitioners in the metropolitan New York City region. The fellowship program represents a diverse, inclusive, and talented community of nonprofit leaders who are advancing social justice missions in New York and beyond. Originally established in 2015 by The New York Community Trust in association with the Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College and its Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management, the fellowship has supported over 400 leaders at more than 250 local and national nonprofit organizations.

Our recruitment for the Spring 2024 cohort will close tomorrow by the end of the day, Friday, March 15. To join the over 500 fellows from more than 250 local and national New York-based nonprofits, apply for a spot today to be considered for our upcoming cohort. Fellows receive a certificate of completion from the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College and its Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management through the Leadership Fellows program. Prospective fellows must be mid-career professionals with a minimum of five years of overall nonprofit experience and at least three years of managerial experience — managing people, projects, and budgets. If your organization has received a grant within the last three years from the New York Community Trust, the Westchester Community Foundation, the Long Island Community Foundation, the Ford Foundation Good Neighbor Committee, or Fund for the City of New York, you can nominate a talented staffer to participate.
