We are thrilled to announce the hire of Christie Finley as Chief Executive Officer! Christie is a North Alabama native who most recently served as Superintendent of Huntsville City Schools 2018 –2023. During her time with Huntsville City Schools she helped expand National Board-Certified Teacher opportunities and secured approval for a new Career Technical Center in the district. With such an extensive background in leadership and commitment to her community and its growth, we could not be more excited to welcome her to the team! As for Christie, we're pretty sure she can't wait to get started either, "I am truly honored to join Leadership Greater Huntsville,” said Christie “Working with such a dedicated staff, Board of Directors, alumni, and business and community stakeholders is a privilege. This organization has been instrumental in nurturing both future and current leaders, thanks to the incredible efforts of past Leadership Greater Huntsville CEOs and staff.” Welcome, Christie! We can't wait to see what you'll do here at LGH!
