Leadership Lafayette

Class 54 had a great time last week during their Navigating Civic Issues Session learning how our local government functions through our interactive Tippecanoe County government simulation. Our participants heard directly from local officials about how to get involved and make a difference in our community. Class 54 began getting to know one another on the first day of their Opening Retreat at The Stables Event Center using Fun Fact Bingo and the Predictive Index. Today, they continue along on their journey at Session Two, Navigating Civic Issues, where they will meet local officials, visit government centers, and learn how to be servant leaders in our community. 📸 https://lnkd.in/gE4Cgy65

Thanks to Madison Walker for being our amazing program assistant since 2022! We're pleased to share that following her graduation from Purdue, Madison accepted a role as an Administrator and Teaching Assistant at Crestview Preschool. We're thrilled that she will be remaining on our Leadership Lafayette team to assist with special projects. Thank you to Vanessa of Pearl Studios for capturing Kitty and Madison at MatchBOX this summer.

Congratulations to Scott Greeson for receiving the Robert L. Griffiths Leadership Award! This recognition celebrates exceptional service contributing to the success of Leadership Lafayette. As a Past President with over seven years of service on Leadership Lafayette's Board, we are immensely grateful for Scott's dedication to our community. Thanks to Scott for all his contributions in support of Greater Lafayette!

Thanks to the generous grant for professional development from the Jim & Mary Jo Risk Family Foundation, our Leadership Lafayette team has had incredible opportunities for professional growth. Our Program Administrator, Madison Walker, attended the Purdue Women's Network Conference in June, and Executive Director, Kitty Campbell, just returned from the Association of Leadership Programs National Conference in Providence, Rhode Island. Some highlights from Kitty's trip are pictured here.

This honor recognizes a Leadership Lafayette graduate who exemplifies civic involvement and servant leadership.
