Today, LeadingAge PA and provider member Phoebe Ministries addressed the Pennsylvania House Majority Policy Committee to stress the urgent need for stability in Pennsylvania's long-term care funding system. LeadingAge PA President and CEO Garry Pezzano, along with representatives from Phoebe, advocated for establishing a 0.90 floor for the Budget Adjustment Factor (BAF). They highlighted the necessity of updating this outdated funding mechanism to ensure that older Pennsylvanians can access high-quality nursing home care.
