One League. For Youth. For Pro. For Life.

About us

One League. For Youth. For Pro. For Life. Volleyball is the most played girls’ sport in the US. Our women’s national team won Olympic gold, and our country deserves a full season professional league supported by a vibrant club and youth ecosystem. League One Volleyball (LOVB, pronounced “love”) is a first-of-its-kind community re-imagining the future of volleyball. We are launching our professional league from the grassroots up – each pro team built from a foundation of ambitious junior volleyball clubs located across the country. LOVB champions every stage of an athlete’s journey: nurturing youthful passion into action, celebrating fierce and unbridled professional talent, and developing coaches to lead future generations. LOVB for life.

We're excited to share League One Volleyball announced we’re deepening our commitment to volleyball in Nebraska with a ground breaking of a 66,000 square foot training center in Gretna. This state-of-the-art club and pro performance center will feature ten premium courts with clear height averages of 32 feet, equipped locker rooms, pro shop, cafe, and modern development and strength training rooms where nationally ranked club Premier Nebraska Volleyball and our LOVB Omaha pro team will prepare themselves for their competitive seasons ahead. “I am the living embodiment of LOVB’s commitment to creating pathways from youth to pro. I grew up playing for Premier Nebraska. To be able to help increase access to the sport of volleyball and train for LOVB Omaha Volleyball in the same facility as my club roots is an incredible full circle moment for me, I can’t wait to inspire the next generation of incredible Nebraskan athletes to pursue their volleyball dreams.” - Jordan Larson, 4x Olympian and LOVB Omaha Outside Hitter Learn more: https://bit.ly/3Y5jl77

We're excited to announce the appointment of Rosie Spaulding as president of LOVB Pro. Congratulations Rosie! ✨ Building upon her established, 20+ year reputation as the architect behind some of the world’s largest global sporting events and leagues, Rosie is being elevated from her role as our LOVB Pro COO as we prepare for our debut with preseason this November. “Since the moment she joined our organization, Rosie has lived and breathed LOVB’s ethos; helping us not only lay the right foundation, but also taking us to where we are today. There is no one more qualified to be president of Pro to take us into the first serve and beyond,” said Katlyn Gao, co-founder and CEO of LOVB. “With Rosie’s experience and continued success in envisioning, building and scaling teams and leagues, she is the right leader to help us deliver the type of league that our athletes deserve.” One of Rosie’s signature philosophies is approaching players as whole athletes, and from the very beginning she has designed this league with both the player and the person in mind - ensuring essential health and wellness benefits, and mental health resources; considerations such as schedule design, and providing off-the-court opportunities and developmental support. With less than five months until LOVB’s first serve in January, Rosie and our LOVB Pro team are focused on league readiness, welcoming the athletes to their new homes for the first time, and inviting more fans into the vibrant volleyball community. “It has been a privilege to work with Rosie from the very beginning on LOVB Pro, and every step of the way, I’ve seen the tremendous love and care that she has put into building the league,” said LOVB Founding Athlete and three-time Olympic Medalist Kelsey (Robinson) Cook. “She is incredibly deserving of this position, and I’m excited for all that is to come next for Rosie, the athletes and for LOVB.” Read more 👉 https://lnkd.in/gcZipfq8
