We were honored that Maryland Gov. Wes Moore helped us recognize the Key Bridge Response Unified Command at our 20th Annual Tribute to the Coast Guard in our Nation’s Capital on Tuesday. The event was emceed by Kyra Phillips and John Roberts and raised funds for Coast Guard Foundation programs. We are excited to announce that METCOR/LSI has been selected as one of nine small business awardees in the USALearning® (USAL) Training and Education Services IDIQ contract. The contract has a 10-year period of performance with a $1.76 billion ceiling. Through guidance from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the USAL program supports all US Government—Federal agencies, state, and local municipalities—with training services, training systems, courseware development, virtual simulators, strategic planning, and many other requirements. LSI will provide training and education support products and services to support USAL customer agencies. These solutions will include all aspects of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation for all training and education support services.

Only four weeks remain until our Salute to the Coast Guard in the Nation’s Capital on June 18. We’ll recognize the U.S. Coast Guard and other agencies responding to the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse, which oversaw the safe movement of the motor vessel Dali from the accident scene yesterday and continue to open the Port of #Baltimore to all vessel traffic. We’ll also honor crews involved in the August rescue of four missing divers off the North Carolina coast.
