We are excited to share that we broke ground on the City of Lynn and Lynn Public Schools new $175m Pickering Middle School last week. “Having experienced the heartbreak of our initial attempt to build a new Pickering Middle School, it brings me immense joy to now be part of the team bringing this vital project to fruition. It’s incredibly rewarding to contribute to creating a school that the Pickering students truly deserve,” said Lynn Stapleton of LeftField Architect: RAYMOND DESIGN ASSOCIATES, INC - RDA Construction Manager: Consigli Construction Co., Inc.

Committed to delivering the best outcomes for our clients on planning, design and construction projects.
About us
We have over 20 years experience representing and advocating for owners on large-scale construction projects. Our expertise is balancing the competing demands of budget, schedule and quality to deliver a project that exceeds the Owner’s goals. We understand Owner interests......We get it. We’ve been advocating for owners’ interests on large-scale, high-profile construction projects for over 20 years. We have represented Fortune 500 companies, world-renowned institutions, public authorities, national developers, national REITs, and non-profits. We realize that many of our clients’ jobs and responsibilities don’t normally revolve around a complicated construction project. While representing your interests, we try to shoulder the day-to-day responsibilities of the project so you can continue to do what you do best. We also know that some Owners want to be very involved, while others prefer to take a more minimal role. Either way, we maintain focus on established goals, develop solutions to minimize constraints, and work to build consensus among stakeholders in a collaborative fashion. Each of our staff brings his or her own experience, expertise and ideas, but ALL of us share the same commitment: delivering the best outcomes for our clients.

“Some people say that good project management is not knowing how to play every instrument, it’s knowing what makes a good song. That is our goal right now — to get all of these competing interests and find a plan that works for everybody.” - Chris Spiegel, Project Executive at LeftField

We couldn't have said it better ourselves! Last week the North Providence School Department held a ribbon cutting for their High School's new Auditorium and we couldn't be more proud. Next stop: Two new elementary schools for the district! We're so lucky to have such great clients and industry partners that make the journey of building something so important so enjoyable.
North Providence High School students are already shining in their incredible new auditorium made possible by RIDE’s Facility Equity Initiative. Commissioner Infante-Green & RIDE joined town, district, school, & community members to recognize another transformative project in RI schools! FEI, launched in 2021, has provided $43M to historically underserved school districts. In that time, schools across the state have invested in new media centers, science labs, auditoriums, cafeterias and more. Congratulations to the City of Waltham, MA, Waltham High School, and all who were involved in the completion of Waltham's new, nearly $400m state-of-the-art high school. The 42 acre site accommodates just over 1,800 students offering 14 specialized career and technical education classes, a library, an auditorium, a gym, classrooms, collaborative spaces, an athletic field, and the list goes on. Five years in the making and the doors have officially opened to welcome students and faculty to the 2024/2025 school year! Big shoutout to our team here at LeftField, SMMA, Consigli Construction Co., Inc. and all of the other disciplines involved, as well as the City of Waltham, MA, Waltham High School, the Building Committee, the Waltham Community, Mayor Jeannette McCarthy, and so many others who helped make this happen!

The Driscoll School Project Team held an in-person Geothermal Primer last week to address questions and curiosity from parents and neighbors. McPhail Associates, LLC, as the designer of the system, did a short presentation followed by Q&A and then Gilbane Building Company led a site-walk to look at the work in progress. In order to help satisfy the community’s interest in coming to the event, we at LeftField developed several informational slides using easy-to-understand graphics as you can see attached, as well as project-specific photos. The event was a great success in educating the community around the sustainable efforts being made on this exciting project!
