For children who have experienced physical or emotional abuse, locating a safe place to call 'home' that provides the opportunity to thrive is important. Last week our ST. CLOUD TEAM partnered with Foster Love and Central Minnesota Children's Advocacy Center / CentraCare to ensure children going through the difficult process of transitioning from an unsafe situation have a bit of comfort and something to call their own. Our ST. CLOUD TEAM got to show off their creativity as they designed 'Sweet Cases' during our Foster Love give back event. Each bag was filled with items that will make the transition out of a traumatic situation and into foster care a bit easier. The Central Minnesota Child Advocacy Center (CAC) and CentraCare have created a “one-stop” approach for children who are exiting traumatic situations and entering foster care; children no longer have to relive their trauma by repeating their story to multiple agencies along the road to receiving help. This organization works tirelessly to ensure children feel heard and seen as well as have the tools to enjoy a bright future ahead. GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE is a foundational pillar within our Company Constitution + Purpose. It's important that we take time throughout the year to ease the burden of those within our communities. We work daily to ensure our customers have a safe place to come home to; we hope to always do the same for others within our community through efforts such as these.
