Another Key Milestone for Levita Magnetics: The First MARS Robotic Center in a Private Clinic in Latin America We’re excited to announce the opening of the first MARS robotic center in a private clinic in Latin America at Clínica Colonial, a premier healthcare facility in Chile. This marks the third MARS system now operating in the country, expanding access for more patients to benefit from advanced technology that enhances both clinical outcomes and operational efficiency. In our inaugural surgery, Dr. Pablo Marin performed a complex dual procedure—a sleeve gastrectomy and cholecystectomy—with remarkable results. Using the MARS system, he completed both surgeries with only three incisions, maintaining full control throughout, without the need for an assisting surgeon, and in half the time this double procedure would typically require. Traditionally, a surgery like this would require 5 to 7 incisions with conventional laparoscopic or other robotic methods. Our magnetic technology proved invaluable in reducing incisions and enhancing the patient’s recovery experience. This achievement strongly supports Levita’s mission: “Empowering Surgeons with Advanced Technology to Perform More Procedures with Greater Precision and Efficiency.” And we’re just getting started—big things are coming as we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in surgical care.
