On September 26, 2017, I walked into the doors of LECI, desperate for a job with benefits. Our family had lost our business two years before, and I reentered the workforce with two part-time jobs after being a stay-at-home mom for ten years. I had very few skills and zero confidence that I could succeed in the corporate world. But, with Michelle Brooks's excellent training, Bryan Jones, Lewis Dudchock, and Richard Horn's belief in me, what started as a job has now turned into a career I absolutely love. In my time at Lewis, I have had several different roles, but my current one, as Human Resources & Payroll Manager (I wasn't able to convince them of the title "Chief Happy Officer"), is not only my favorite but the most fulfilling. I get to do what I love every day - take care of our employees and ensure they know they are valued and appreciated. Being able to do what you love every day is a blessing beyond measure.
