Transitioning to electric buses is a significant step towards reducing emissions and improving air quality in New York City. The partnership with the New York Power Authority and the installation of fast charging systems demonstrate a commitment to innovation and sustainability. It's inspiring to see cities taking proactive measures to combat climate change and embrace clean energy solutions. Here's to a greener, more sustainable future for public transportation in NYC! 🚌♻️ #LHP_Architects is proud to contribute to such a transformative initiative.

Charging into the future ⚡🔌 Today, we unveiled 60 new electric buses that will be operating in Queens, Staten Island and Brooklyn! We partnered with New York Power Authority to install 17 fast charging system points at Grand Avenue Bus Depot in Queens. These charging points are known as autonomous pantograph dispensers because they “dispense” energy through arms that automatically connect with the buses. These innovations are part of our overall goal to operate a 100 percent zero emission bus fleet by 2040!
