This week, Thomas Tyler, our College & Career Specialist, had the pleasure of visiting one of the 2024 EmpowerED scholars, Andrew, at the University of Central Florida! Andrew is excelling in his studies and took the initiative to explore the Career Services office. While there, he discovered valuable opportunities to connect with employers and plans to schedule a resume review session soon. Recapping the visit, Thomas shared, “It’s inspiring to see our scholars like Andrew take charge of their future. Programs like EmpowerED are here to open doors and support their incredible journeys!” We're proud of Andrew and grateful for the work of our education team to empower our scholarship recipients every day!

Thomas will be conducting drop-in visits with students, offering personalized guidance and ensuring they have the tools and support they need to stay on track and achieve their goals.
