PhD Positions Available – Join Our Lab at UBC! I’m excited to announce openings for PhD students in my lab at the Department of Wood Science, UBC, starting next September. Our research focuses on sustainable technologies for biomass utilization. Current projects include: - Deep eutectic solvent-assisted biomass fractionation - Green solvent-based extraction and functionalization of CNC for advanced materials - (Potentially) Lignin chemistry and its applications (NOT catalyst research) Qualifications: - Master’s degree in a related field - Research experience in relevant topics is preferred - Proficiency in English (minimum IBT 100, IELTS 7.0) If you meet these requirements, I’d love to hear from you!
